Who I am
I feel like a simple person in a complex world. When the weather is nice, I want to be outside, exploring & taking photos. When it's not, I want to be inside drinking coffee & reading.

My lifelong loves are nature, animals, wildlife, photography, reading, exploring new places, learning new things & diving into history . I could honestly spend many hours, days & weeks alone. When I venture out, I’m looking for local coffee shops, bookstores, libraries, museums, zoos, aquariums, gardens & parks. I’m often not searching specifically for art, but LOVE when I find it in random places. I find art museums overwhelming & humbling. It’s often too much to process in too short a time. My lifelong friends have told me they’ve always viewed me as an artist, but I’ve often felt unworthy of the title.
Wayfaring for me includes walking, hiking, bike riding, camping and road trips. I thrive on supporting local artists & businesses. Being from a tourist town, I’m often mentally challenging myself to separate the "local" from the "tourist" both people & destinations. I enjoy taking in the "vibe" of a place, spreading Kindness, love & empathy. My soul feels at peace near water, oceans, lakes, streams, even man-made fountains, whatever water source I can find in a time of need.

I also like to mix in a little spirituality & fantasy. My spirit enjoys thinking about things like fairies & dragons. My soul connects with the natural world. I contemplate how our spirits & souls are connected to each other. I wonder about connecting with other lost souls. People who follow their own path, who aren't afraid to be alone. I want my life to be free and 100% my own. I am resilient & self-reliant. I am a survivor. I want to know more free spirits who also care about others. A gathering of those of us who are on journey, but aren't sure of the destination, just being on the path is enough.
